Enrollment Advisor

You’ll run consultation calls with families, learn what their student needs, and help them decide if INSPIRATE is the right fit. This is not a pushy sales role. We only take families we can truly help, and your job is to figure out which ones those are.

  • 1:1Consultation calls
  • 5–20Calls per week
  • Right fitOnly families we can help

Section 01

Who we are

INSPIRATE helps motivated students punch above their weight class and earn acceptances at selective schools where they’ll actually thrive, without the “Ivy or bust” pressure cooker. Founded in 2023, we work with students from 9th grade through application season.

Our students

Motivated high schoolers, 9th through 12th grade, aiming for selective schools. Their families want a clear plan, not more pressure.

What we do for them

Activities and summer programs early on. Then school lists, application strategy, personal statements, and supplements. One team from 9th grade to decision day.

How we work

Regular 1:1 meetings with a written recap after each one. Progress tracked for every student. Monthly quality reviews so nothing slips, and a student portal that keeps it in one place.

Where you fit

Families come to you from our webinars, YouTube, and our Appointment Setter. You decide with them whether we’re the right fit.

Section 02

What you’ll own

You own every consultation, from the first question to the family’s decision, and the handoff to their counselor after that.

Core

Consultation calls

Run calls with parents and students. Understand where the student is, where they want to go, and what’s in the way.

Core

Honest recommendations

Explain how we’d help, which program fits, and what it costs. If we’re not the right fit, say so.

Core

Follow-up

When a family needs time to think, follow up consistently and on your own, with what they need to decide, without pressure.

Ongoing

Clean handoffs

Pass every new family to their counselor with the notes they need to start strong.

Ongoing

Feedback to marketing

Tell us what families are asking and worried about, so our content and webinars answer it.

The short version: Listen first. Recommend honestly. Follow up without pressure. Only enroll families we can truly help.

Section 03

What great looks like

How we sell, and why it works.

Pillar 01

Diagnose first

Understand the student before you talk about programs.

Pillar 02

Honesty sells

Families can tell when they’re being pushed. Telling them the truth is what earns their trust.

Pillar 03

Right fit only

Enrolling a family we can’t help hurts them and us. Saying no is part of the job.

Section 04

How you’ll be measured

You’re measured on results, and on whether the families you enroll were the right ones.

Results

  • Close rateThe share of consultations that become enrolled families.
  • Right-fit familiesThe families you enroll stay with us and get results.

Follow-up

  • Consistent follow-upEvery family that needs time hears back from you, on your own schedule and without reminders. If someone has to remind you to follow up, this isn’t the role.

Section 05

Who this role is for

We want someone who is good at sales and would still rather lose a sale than oversell.

You’re a fit if

  • You’ve sold something real and can say at what price point
  • You know what to do when a parent says “we need to think about it”
  • You’d rather lose a sale than oversell
  • You’re comfortable talking with parents about money and their child’s future
  • You track your own numbers, like your close rate
  • You follow up with every family consistently, without anyone reminding you

This isn’t for you if

  • Your playbook relies on pressure or fake urgency
  • You don’t want to learn how admissions actually works
  • You see families as numbers
  • You need reminders to follow up

Section 06

Schedule & structure

This role is fully remote and part-time or full-time.

  1. Fully remote

Work from wherever you do your best work.

  2. Part-time or full-time

Most calls happen on weekday evenings and weekends, when families are free.

  3. Employee

This isn’t a contract position. You join as an employee because we’re building a long-term partnership with you, not something short-term.

  4. Getting started

Your first two weeks are mostly onboarding and training: how we work, the tools we use, and the standard we hold. Then you start running your own consultations, with the team behind you.

Section 07

Apply now

A short application, plus a short Loom video. The Loom is where we learn the most about how you think. If it looks like a fit, we’ll reach out with a short work sample.

Google Drive or Dropbox, set so anyone with the link can view.

Record a 3–5 minute Loom answering these three questions, in order:

  1. Background: Walk us through how you run a sales call, from the first minute to the decision.
  2. Role-play: Act this out, talking to the camera as if we’re the parent. You’re near the end of a consultation call, and the parent says, “This sounds great, but we need to think about it.” Handle it the way you would on a real call, all the way to a decision.
  3. Why this role: What do you know about INSPIRATE, and why do you think you’d be a fit for this role specifically?

Be specific. Stories from your own work tell us far more than general claims. (Loom is free at loom.com.)
